Job Description:

Join our Engineering Team at Telent and be part of a high-performing team working on complex and critical infrastructure projects. As a NOC (Network Operations Centre) Technician, you will provide administrative support to the NOC engineering team, ensuring incident resolution aligns with procedures and contractual KPIs. This role involves working on a 24/7, 365-day shift rota.

Responsibilities:
  1. Handle incoming phone calls and emails, responding in accordance with KPIs.
  2. Create network incident tickets from customer reports.
  3. Action Service Requests.
  4. Allocate and dispatch tickets to technical support, field engineering, and other service providers.
  5. Manage incident tickets with regular updates.
  6. Coordinate traffic management activities, liaising with traffic management providers, regional control teams, and field resources.
  7. Communicate with customers to provide updates on network incidents.
  8. Coordinate with utility companies regarding power loss issues affecting the network.
Who You Are:

Experienced in supporting Enterprise and Service Provider Networks, preferably within a NOC environment.

Key Requirements:
  • Experience with 1st Line diagnostics and incident resolution.
  • Good communication skills, capable of liaising with individuals at all levels of seniority.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office packages.
