Job Description:

Join our Engineering Team at Telent to innovate and develop solutions, working with technical experts dedicated to impactful work. Be part of a high-performing team managing complex and critical infrastructure, ensuring connectivity and protection 24/7.

The NOC (Network Operations Centre) Technician will provide administrative support to the NOC engineering team, ensuring incident resolution aligns with procedures and KPIs. The role involves working on a 24/7 365-day shift rota.

What you’ll do:

  • Handle incoming calls and emails, responding in line with KPIs.
  • Create network incident tickets from customer reports.
  • Action Service Requests.
  • Allocate/despatch tickets to technical support, field engineering, and other providers.
  • Manage incident tickets with regular updates.
  • Coordinate traffic management with providers, control teams, and field resources.
  • Communicate with customers regarding network incidents.
  • Collaborate with utility companies during power-related network issues.

Who you are:

Experienced in supporting Enterprise and Service Provider Networks, preferably within a NOC environment.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience in 1st Line diagnostics and incident resolution.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to liaise across all levels.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
