Job Description:

Join our Engineering Team at Telent to innovate and develop solutions, working closely with technical experts to make a significant impact. Be part of a high-performing team handling complex and critical tasks, helping to maintain the nation's critical infrastructure connectivity and security 24/7.

The NOC (Network Operations Centre) Technician provides administrative support to the NOC engineering team, ensuring incident resolution according to procedures and contractual KPIs. This role involves working on a 24/7, 365-day shift rota.

What You’ll Do:

• Handle incoming calls and emails, responding in line with KPIs.
• Create incident tickets from customer reports.
• Action Service Requests.
• Assign tickets to support and engineering teams, and other service providers.
• Manage incident tickets with regular updates.
• Coordinate traffic management, liaising with providers, control teams, and field resources.
• Communicate updates to customers regarding network incidents.
• Coordinate with utility companies during power-related network issues.

Who You Are:

Previous experience supporting Enterprise and Service Provider Networks, ideally within a NOC environment.

Key Requirements:

• Experience with 1st Line diagnostics and incident resolution.
• Strong communication skills and ability to liaise with all levels of seniority.
• Good understanding of Microsoft Office.
