Job Description:

Join our Engineering Team at Telent to innovate and develop solutions, working with technical experts committed to making an impact. Be part of a high-performing team managing complex, critical work to keep the nation's infrastructure connected and protected 24/7.

The NOC (Network Operations Centre) Technician provides administrative support to the NOC engineering team, ensuring incidents are resolved per procedures and KPIs. The role involves working on a 24/7 365-day shift rota.

What you’ll do:

  • Handle incoming calls and emails, responding in line with KPIs.
  • Create network incident tickets from customer reports.
  • Action Service Requests.
  • Assign tickets to support and engineering teams, and other providers.
  • Manage incident tickets with updates.
  • Coordinate traffic management with providers and regional teams.
  • Update customers on network incidents.
  • Coordinate with utility companies regarding power issues.

Who you are:

Experience supporting Enterprise and Service Provider Networks, preferably in a NOC environment.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience with 1st Line diagnostics and incident resolution.
  • Strong communication skills across all levels.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
