Job Description:

Join Telent's Engineering Team to innovate and develop solutions, working closely with technical experts committed to impactful work. Be part of a high-performing team managing complex, critical infrastructure that keeps the nation's networks connected and secure 24/7.

The NOC (Network Operations Centre) Technician provides administrative support to the NOC engineering team, ensuring incident resolution aligns with procedures and contractual KPIs. The role involves working on a 24/7/365 shift rota.

Responsibilities:
  1. Handle incoming calls and emails, responding in line with KPIs.
  2. Create network incident tickets from customer reports.
  3. Action Service Requests.
  4. Allocate/despatch tickets to technical support, field engineering, and other service providers.
  5. Manage incident tickets with regular updates.
  6. Organise traffic management, coordinating with traffic providers, regional control, and field resources.
  7. Communicate with customers about network incidents.
  8. Coordinate with utility companies regarding power-related network issues.
Candidate Profile:

Experience supporting Enterprise and Service Provider Networks, preferably within a NOC environment.

Key Requirements:
  • Experience in 1st Line diagnostics and incident resolution.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to liaise across all levels of seniority.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
