Job Description:

Join our Engineering Team at Telent to innovate and develop solutions, working closely with technical experts committed to making an impact. Be part of a high-performing team handling complex, critical work to maintain the nation's critical infrastructure connectivity and security 24/7.

The NOC (Network Operations Centre) Technician supports the NOC engineering team by managing incident resolution, working to meet contractual KPIs, and operating within a 24/7 shift rota.

What you’ll do:

• Handle incoming calls and emails, responding in line with KPIs.
• Create incident tickets based on customer reports.
• Action Service Requests.
• Allocate tickets to support and engineering teams, and other providers.
• Manage incident tickets with regular updates.
• Coordinate traffic management with providers, control teams, and field resources.
• Communicate incident updates to customers.
• Coordinate with utility companies regarding power issues affecting the network.

Who you are:

Previous experience supporting Enterprise and Service Provider Networks, ideally within a NOC environment.

Key Requirements:

• Experience with 1st Line diagnostics and incident resolution.
• Strong communication skills and ability to liaise with all levels of seniority.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office packages.
