Job Description:

Join our Engineering Team at Telent, where you'll be empowered to innovate and develop solutions, working closely with technical experts. Be part of a high-performing team handling complex and critical work to keep the nation's infrastructure connected and protected 24/7.

The NOC (Network Operations Centre) Technician provides administrative support to the NOC engineering team, ensuring incident resolution in line with procedures and contractual KPIs. The role involves working on a 24/7 365-day shift rota.

What you’ll do:

• Handle incoming phone calls and emails, responding in line with KPIs.
• Create network incident tickets from customer reports.
• Action Service Requests.
• Allocate/despatch tickets to support and engineering teams, and other providers.
• Manage incident tickets with regular updates.
• Organise traffic management, coordinating providers and regional teams.
• Communicate with customers about network incidents.
• Coordinate with utility companies regarding power-related network issues.

Who you are:

Previous experience supporting Enterprise and Service Provider Networks, ideally within a NOC environment.

Key Requirements:

• Experience in 1st Line diagnostics and incident resolution.
• Good communication skills and ability to liaise at all levels.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
