Job Description:

Join our Engineering Team at Telent to innovate and develop common solutions, working closely with technical experts to make a significant impact. Be part of a high-performing team handling complex and critical tasks, helping to build and maintain the nation's critical infrastructure 24/7.

The NOC (Network Operations Centre) Technician will provide administrative support to the NOC engineering team, ensuring incidents are resolved according to procedures and meeting contractual KPIs. The role involves working on a 24/7 365-day shift rota.

Responsibilities:
  1. Handle incoming calls and emails, responding in line with KPIs.
  2. Create network incident tickets from customer reports.
  3. Action Service Requests.
  4. Allocate/despatch tickets to support and engineering teams, and other service providers.
  5. Manage incident tickets with regular updates.
  6. Organise traffic management, coordinating with providers, control teams, and field resources.
  7. Communicate with customers about network incidents.
  8. Coordinate with utility companies regarding power-related network issues.
Who You Are:

Experienced in supporting Enterprise and Service Provider Networks, ideally within a NOC environment.

Key Requirements:
  • Experience in 1st Line diagnostics and incident resolution.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to liaise with all levels of seniority.
  • Good understanding of Microsoft Office.
