Job Description:

Join our Engineering Team at Telent to innovate and develop solutions, working closely with technical experts committed to making an impact. Be part of a high-performing team handling complex, critical tasks to keep the nation's infrastructure connected and protected 24/7.

The NOC (Network Operations Centre) Technician will support the NOC engineering team administratively, ensuring incident resolution aligns with procedures and contractual KPIs. The role involves working on a 24/7, 365-day shift rota.

What you’ll do:

• Handle incoming calls and emails, responding in line with KPIs.
• Create network incident tickets from customer reports.
• Action Service Requests.
• Assign tickets to support teams, field engineers, and service providers.
• Manage incident tickets with regular updates.
• Coordinate traffic management, liaising with providers, control teams, and field resources.
• Update customers on network incidents.
• Coordinate with utility companies regarding power issues affecting the network.

Who you are:

Previous experience supporting enterprise and service provider networks, ideally within a NOC environment.

Key Requirements:

• Experience with 1st line diagnostics and incident resolution.
• Strong communication skills and ability to liaise across all levels.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
