Job Description

Join our Engineering Team at Telent and be empowered to innovate and develop solutions alongside technical experts. Contribute to critical infrastructure projects that keep the nation connected and protected 24/7.

The NOC (Network Operations Centre) Technician will provide administrative support to the NOC engineering team, ensuring incident resolution in line with procedures and contractual KPIs. The role involves working on a 24/7, 365-day shift rota.

What you'll do:
  • Handle incoming calls and emails, responding according to KPIs.
  • Create network incident tickets from customer reports.
  • Action Service Requests.
  • Allocate and dispatch tickets to technical support, field engineering, and other service providers.
  • Manage incident tickets with regular updates.
  • Coordinate traffic management with providers, regional control, and field teams.
  • Communicate with customers about network incidents.
  • Collaborate with utility companies regarding power-related network issues.
Who you are:

Previous experience supporting Enterprise and Service Provider Networks, preferably within a NOC environment.

Key Requirements:
  • Experience with 1st Line diagnostics and incident resolution.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to liaise across all levels of seniority.
  • Good understanding of Microsoft Office suite.
