Davies in Glasgow is seeking a NIHL Claims Handler to join our Claims Management team on a permanent full-time basis. You will manage NIHL and casualty claims from investigation to settlement, liaising with Disclosure and clients, gathering evidence, and preparing detailed reports.

The role emphasises customer service, adherence to procedures, and reserving. Candidates must be British nationals with UK working rights; citizenship is required.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in managing claims from cradle to grave.
• Understanding of Civil Procedure Rules and the Claims Portal.

Responsibilities

• Liaison with Disclosure teams for the MOD services.
• Investigate and handle allocated claims.
• Gather relevant evidence and documentation.
• Determine actions to resolve each case.
• Prepare detailed reports on liability, quantum, and tactics.
• Negotiate settlements within authority limits.
• Maintain proactive communication with all parties.
• Adhere to documented procedures and client requirements.
• Review and maintain proper reserves.
• Stay updated on technical changes and training.
