Job summary

Insight Care Group is seeking a dedicated Waking Night Support Worker in Cradley Heath to provide overnight care for young people with learning and behavioural needs. The role focuses on safeguarding, monitoring welfare, and gentle supervision to ensure a calm night environment.

The successful candidate will join a supportive team in a residential setting with training opportunities, including Level 4 Residential Childcare, and pathways for progression within Ofsted-regulated homes.

Qualifications

• Experience working with young people in a residential care setting.
• Willingness to work nights and long hours.
• Commitment to safeguarding and welfare of children.

Responsibilities

• Safeguarding the children and monitoring safety during night shifts.
• Record welfare checks and essential information accurately; use Clearcare if available.
• Prepare materials and plans for next day activities.
• Maintain cleanliness and assist with paperwork and admin tasks.
