Job summary

Service Care Solutions Ltd seeks a Waking Nights Residential Support Worker to join a dedicated team that cares for children and young people during the night. You will help maintain a safe, nurturing home and provide reassurance and practical support as needed.

Working through the night, you will monitor safety, follow care plans and complete accurate night records, while handing over thoroughly to day staff to ensure continuity of care.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people is advantageous.
• Ability to work through the night with resilience.
• Willingness to follow individual care and safeguarding plans.

Responsibilities

• Remain awake, alert and vigilant throughout the night shift.
• Safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people.
• Provide support, reassurance and comfort to young people during the night.
• Respond calmly to distress or needs during the night.
• Follow care plans, risk assessments and procedures.
