Job summary

Heart and Home Living in Northampton is seeking a Waking Night Residential Support Worker to care for children in our therapeutic home. You will work 10pm to 8am on a 2-week rolling rota, providing a stable, protective environment and helping young people reach their full potential.

The role requires safeguarding knowledge, strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team. A full driving licence is required; sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people in a residential setting.
• Experience handling challenging behaviour and crisis situations.
• Ability to work effectively in a team to support young people.

Responsibilities

• Act as key worker for allocated children and contribute to care planning.
• Support educational development and learning opportunities within the home.
• Maintain records and adhere to safeguarding policies and procedures.
