Job summary

Resicare Alliance Ltd is seeking a Waking Night Residential Support Worker to provide overnight care and safeguarding for children in our residential home. You will be the constant, reassuring presence through the night, supporting bedtime and morning routines where required.

Responsibilities

Remaining awake and alert during night shifts.
Carrying out welfare checks in line with care plans and risk assessments.
Supporting children who wake during the night with reassurance.
Maintaining a calm, safe night-time environment.
Completing detailed night reports and incident recordings.
Providing clear handovers to day staff.
Escalating concerns promptly to on-call management.
Engaging with families, social workers, education staff and other professionals.
Participating in supervision and training.
