Job summary

Witherslack Group is seeking a Night Support Worker to care for children and young people with SEMH in our residential homes. You’ll be on night shifts, providing safe supervision, building trust, and supporting positive pathways.

Training is provided, including a 4‑week induction, with opportunities for career progression. We offer a competitive base salary (see details) plus an extensive benefits package and 7 weeks holiday.

Qualifications

• A ‘can do’ attitude and teamwork.
• Honesty and empathy are essential.
• Resilience to handle challenging situations.
• UK driving licence held for at least 12 months and readiness to study if needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide overnight support to children with SEMH in residential homes.
• Build rapport and provide safe, caring supervision during the night.
• Complete admin tasks, paperwork, cleaning and laundry as required.
• Support each young person’s needs and promote positive routines.
