Job summary

Witherslack Group is looking for Night Support Workers to care for children and young people in our residential homes in the UK. You’ll provide night-time support, build trust, and help young people regain a sense of routine and safety.

The role includes a 4-week Care Academy induction, competitive salary, and a comprehensive benefits package. Many roles lead to progression within our regional care homes network, with generous holidays and a strong focus on wellbeing.

Qualifications

• A full UK driving licence held for at least 12 months.
• Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) preferred or supported.
• Willingness to undertake Care Academy induction.

Responsibilities

• Take care of the home and our young people through the night.
• Build rapport and be a trusted adult during times of need.
• Complete paperwork, cleaning and laundry during quieter times.
• Support young people with trauma, illness or sleep issues as they arise.
• Contribute to a positive daily routine and safe environment.
