Job summary

Witherslack Group is seeking Night Support Workers to care for young people in our residential homes during waking nights. You’ll support children with SEHM needs, build trust and provide a safe, nurturing environment through challenging nights with trauma or illness, alongside essential tasks like paperwork and laundry.

Starting as NSO with a 4-week Care Academy, you’ll have opportunities for progression and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• A ‘can do’ attitude – a team player who rolls up their sleeves to help others.
• Honesty and empathy are essential.
• Resilience to handle challenging situations.
• A full UK driving licence held for at least 12 months.
• If you don’t have a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare, we’ll pay for you to study.
• Start life as a NSO with 4 weeks of off the job training in our Care Academy.

Responsibilities

• Takes care of the home and our young people through the night.
• Handle paperwork, cleaning and laundry in quieter times.
