Job summary

Witherslack Group is seeking Night Support Workers to care for children and young people with SEMH in our dedicated homes. You’ll be there through the night to support, comfort, and monitor wellbeing, helping young people feel safe and understood.

We offer a 4-week Care Academy induction, a generous benefits package including 7 weeks of holiday and an Attendance Allowance, and clear progression paths within WG as you grow in your role.

Qualifications

• A positive, proactive attitude with teamwork
• Empathy for young people and their needs
• Resilience to handle challenging situations and nights
• A full UK driving licence held for at least 12 months
• If you don’t have Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare, WG will fund study support

Responsibilities

• Provide night-time care and support to young people
• Build rapport and trust during periods of distress
• Assist with paper work, cleaning and laundry during quieter times
• Contribute to a safe, nurturing environment in WG homes
