Job summary

Sainsbury's is seeking an overnight Nightshift Manager in the Nottingham area. You will lead a team during the night, prioritise deliveries, organise the warehouse and replenish shelves to ensure readiness at opening.

You’ll be responsible for safety, performance, and coaching a team to deliver outstanding service. As part of a fast-paced retail environment, you’ll drive KPI achievement, manage disciplinary matters, and ensure accurate scheduling and pay.

Qualifications

• Track record of delivering brilliant customer service.
• Experience leading a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Operational leadership in absence of more senior managers.
• Proven success meeting or exceeding KPIs (sales, availability, customer satisfaction).
• Experience managing employee relations including performance and absence.

Responsibilities

• Lead overnight replenishment and manage warehouse to prioritise deliveries and replenish shelves.
• Oversee full store operation during night shift, ensuring safety and wellbeing of colleagues.
• Maintain high standards by morning, ensuring readiness for customers.
• Coach and manage performance, scheduling and pay compliance.
