Job summary

Sainsbury's in Birmingham is seeking a capable nightshift manager to lead replenishment and the store's overnight operations. You will prioritise deliveries, organise the warehouse, and ensure shelves are stocked while safeguarding your team's safety.

You’ll oversee performance, coaching, and scheduling, with KPI ownership and a focus on seamless morning service. The role offers a real chance to influence store efficiency and customer experience.

Qualifications

• Track record of delivering brilliant customer service and coaching colleagues to do the same.
• Experience leading a team in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment with strong operations focus.
• Operational leadership during absence of senior managers.
• Proven ability to meet or exceed KPIs across sales, availability, customer satisfaction or colleague engagement.
• Experience handling employee relations issues including performance and absence management.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team overnight to deliver all replenishment activities, prioritise deliveries, organise the warehouse and replenish shelves.
• Occasionally run full store operations overnight, ensuring safety and wellbeing of colleagues.
• Ensure high standards of operation are ready for morning service.
• Manage performance, capability, scheduling and pay, including disciplinaries.
