Job summary

Sainsbury's in Bedford is hiring a Nightshift Manager to lead a team overnight, delivering replenishment and overseeing warehouse operations. You’ll prioritise deliveries, organise the stock flow and ensure shelves are replenished for a strong morning service.

The role requires previous line management in fast-paced stores, resilience for night work, and a focus on coaching teams to deliver outstanding customer service while meeting KPIs.

Qualifications

• Proven track record delivering strong customer service and coaching colleagues.
• Experience leading a team in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
• Operational leadership with responsibility for store operations during shifts.
• History of meeting or exceeding KPIs across sales, availability or satisfaction.
• Experience managing employee relations issues, including performance and absence.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team overnight to deliver replenishment across the store and organise warehouse.
• Oversee full store operations overnight, ensuring safety and wellbeing of colleagues.
• Ensure standards are excellent by morning to serve customers.
• Manage performance, scheduling and disciplinary processes as needed.
