Job summary

Sainsbury's is seeking an experienced nightshift store manager to lead overnight replenishment and operations. You’ll manage a team, prioritise deliveries, organise the warehouse, and ensure shelves are stocked for morning trade.

This full-time role runs 4 nights per week from 22:00 to 08:00 with a £4,500 premium, and you’ll be responsible for safety, performance and KPI delivery while providing excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Brilliant customer service and coaching colleagues to do the same.
• Experience leading a team in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
• Operational leadership when senior managers are absent.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding KPIs in sales, availability, or customer satisfaction.
• Experience handling employee relations issues including performance and absence management.

Responsibilities

• Lead overnight replenishment activities and prioritise deliveries, organise the warehouse and replenish shelves.
• Oversee the full store operation overnight, ensuring safety and wellbeing of colleagues.
• Ensure standards are maintained so the store is ready for morning customers.
• Manage performance, disciplinary processes and scheduling with accurate pay.
