Job summary

Sainsbury's in the United Kingdom is seeking a nightshift manager to lead store operations overnight, prioritise deliveries, organise warehouse and replenish shelves, while hands-on involvement.

You’ll manage a team, ensure safety, coaching, and drive KPIs, with responsibilities for disciplinary issues, scheduling and pay. The role offers a £4,500 premium on top of base salary and full-time hours over four nights.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering brilliant customer service and coaching others.
• Experience leading a team in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
• Operational leadership responsibilities in store operations.
• Track record of meeting or exceeding KPIs (sales, availability, satisfaction).
• Experience handling employee relations issues including performance and absence.
• Desirable: experience on night shifts in high-volume environments.

Responsibilities

• Leading a team overnight to deliver all replenishment activities and prioritise deliveries.
• Run full store operation overnight, ensuring safety and wellbeing of colleagues.
• Ensure standards are brilliant by morning to serve customers.
• Manage performance, discipline, scheduling and payroll for the team.
