Sainsbury's Supermarkets Ltd is seeking a Customer and Trading Manager – Nightshift at Rayleigh Weir Store in Benfleet. You will lead overnight replenishment, prioritise deliveries, organise storage, and ensure shelves are ready for the morning rush.

The role is full-time and permanent, with a base salary from £31,700 plus a £4,500 nightshift premium, reflecting the responsibility of overnight operations and safety of colleagues. Closing date: 29 September 2026.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a nightshift team in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Leading a team overnight to deliver all replenishment activities across the store whilst getting stuck in yourself to prioritise deliveries, organise the warehouse and replenish shelves.
• Often, you get to run a full store operation on your own overnight being responsible for the full shift and the safety and wellbeing of colleagues in store
• Making sure that standards are brilliant come morning so we’re ready to serve our customers
• People management is a big part of the role, managing performance and capability, conducting disciplinaries and ensuring scheduling and pay are accurate.
