Sainsbury's is seeking a dedicated Nightshift Manager to lead overnight replenishment and ensure seamless store operations. You will manage a team, prioritise deliveries, and uphold safety for colleagues while driving performance and customer satisfaction.

The role requires hands-on leadership during night shifts and a focus on getting standards ready for the morning rush. Night shifts run 22:00–08:00 with a £4,500 premium; experience in fast-paced, customer-facing environments is essential.

Qualifications

• Track record delivering excellent customer service and coaching colleagues.
• Experience leading a team in fast-paced, customer-facing environments.
• Operational leadership in the absence of senior managers.
• Proven ability to meet or exceed KPIs across sales, availability, and customer satisfaction.
• Experience managing employee relations, including performance and absence management.
• Desirable: night shift experience in high-volume operations with safe, supportive atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team overnight to execute all replenishment activities and prioritise deliveries.
• Often run full store operations overnight, ensuring safety and wellbeing of colleagues.
• Ensure standards are highest by morning for excellent customer service.
• Coach and manage performance, scheduling, and payroll accuracy.
