Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Technician/Mechanic in HGV or related sectors.
• Ideally served a recognised apprenticeship.
• Willing to undergo training to become a qualified HGV Technician.

Responsibilities

• Servicing and maintaining a variety of Trucks and Vehicles.
• Carrying out safety inspections and preparing vehicles for MOTs.
• Ensuring repairs comply with manufacturer's procedures.

Skills

Technical knowledge in HGV maintenance

Fault diagnosis

Ability to follow safety procedures

Full UK driving license

Education

Level 3 (C&G, NVQ or equivalent) in Commercial Vehicle Maintenance
