Job summary

A leading automotive dealer in the UK is seeking an experienced HGV Technician for Nightshift at their Leicester dealership. The role involves servicing and maintaining a variety of trucks, carrying out safety inspections, and conducting fault diagnostics. Ideal candidates will have previous experience in a relevant field and a Level 3 qualification in Commercial Vehicle Maintenance. Qualifications

• Experience in HGV, Commercial Vehicle, or related field.
• Served a recognised apprenticeship or training programme.
• Skills to accurately complete job cards and service records.

Responsibilities

• Servicing and maintaining a variety of trucks and vehicles.
• Carry out safety inspections and prepare vehicles for MOT.
• Ensure repairs are carried out to manufacturer’s procedures.

Skills

Previous experience as a Technician / Mechanic

Excellent technical knowledge

Sound knowledge for fault diagnosis

Ability to participate in breakdowns

Full UK driving licence

Education

Level 3 qualification in Commercial Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
