Job summary

A large truck dealership in Leicester is seeking an experienced HGV Technician for the nightshift. You will service and maintain a variety of trucks, conduct safety inspections, and perform fault diagnostics. Ideal candidates will have experience in HGV, commercial vehicles, or a related trade, along with a Level 3 qualification. Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Technician/Mechanic in HGV or related sector.
• Recognised apprenticeship or training program preferred.
• Full UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Servicing and maintaining Trucks and Vehicles.
• Conducting safety inspections and preparing vehicles for MOT.
• Diagnosing faults and ensuring repairs follow manufacturer procedures.

Skills

Technical knowledge of HGV maintenance

Fault diagnostics

Ability to participate in breakdowns

Accurate paperwork completion

Education

Level 3 qualification in Commercial Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
