Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Technician/Mechanic in HGV or associated sectors.
• Full UK driving licence is required.
• Willingness to transfer skills from Light Commercial or Car Mechanic roles.

Responsibilities

• Servicing and maintaining a wide variety of Trucks and Vehicles.
• Carry out safety inspections and prepare vehicles for MOT's.
• Fault diagnostics and road testing vehicles when required.

Skills

Technical knowledge for maintenance and repairs

Fault diagnosis

Ability to participate in breakdowns

Accurate completion of job cards and service records

Education

Qualified to Level 3 in Commercial Vehicle Maintenance and Repair

Recognized apprenticeship or training programme
