Job summary

A leading vehicle dealership in Leicester seeks an HGV Technician for Nightshift. Responsibilities include servicing a variety of trucks, carrying out safety inspections, and ensuring repairs are done per manufacturer procedures. Ideal candidates have Level 3 qualifications in Commercial Vehicle Maintenance and some prior experience as a Technician/Mechanic. Qualifications

• Previous experience working in the HGV or related sector.
• Ability to follow company processes for paperwork accuracy.
• Skills to participate in breakdowns.

Responsibilities

• Servicing and maintaining a variety of Trucks and Vehicles.
• Carrying out safety inspections and preparing vehicles for MOT.
• Fault diagnostics and ensuring repairs are done safely.

Skills

Experience as a Technician/Mechanic

Technical knowledge for repairs

Fault diagnosis skills

Full UK driving licence

Education

Qualified to Level 3 in Commercial Vehicle Maintenance and Repair

Recognised apprenticeship or training programme
