Job summary

A prominent UK Truck dealership is seeking an experienced HGV Technician for a Nightshift role at their Leicester dealership. The ideal candidate will have experience in vehicle maintenance and repairs along with a Level 3 qualification in Commercial Vehicle Maintenance. The position offers excellent training opportunities, overtime pay, and employee benefits. Shift options include either a 5-night or 4-night work week. Qualifications

• Experience in HGV, Commercial Vehicle, or Heavy Plant sectors.
• Completed a recognized apprenticeship or training programme.
• Ability to participate in breakdowns.

Responsibilities

• Servicing and maintaining a variety of Trucks and Vehicles.
• Carry out safety inspections and prepare vehicles for MOT.
• Ensure repairs are performed according to manufacturer’s procedures.

Skills

Previous experience as a Technician / Mechanic

Technical knowledge of maintenance and repair

Ability to diagnose faults

Full UK driving licence

Education

Level 3 qualification in Commercial Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
