Job summary

A leading truck dealership in the UK is seeking an experienced HGV Technician for the nightshift at their Leicester dealership. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in HGV or an associated sector, and hold a Level 3 qualification in Commercial Vehicle Maintenance and Repair. Responsibilities include servicing vehicles, conducting safety inspections, and carrying out repairs following manufacturer procedures. Qualifications

• Previous experience working as a Technician/Mechanic in HGV or associated sectors.
• Ideally served a recognised apprenticeship or training programme.
• Full UK driving license required.

Responsibilities

• Servicing and maintaining a variety of Trucks and Vehicles.
• Carry out safety inspections and prepare vehicles for MOT.
• Ensure repairs are carried out according to manufacturer’s procedures.

Skills

Ability to participate in breakdowns

Experience in HGV/Commercial Vehicle sector

Education

Level 3 (C&G, NVQ or equivalent) in Commercial Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
