Job summary

Lime Trees Care Home is seeking a Night Unit Manager to lead the night shift, ensuring high quality, person-centred care. You will be responsible for day-to-day operational management of the unit, maintaining standards and creating a safe, well-organised environment.

You will oversee care delivery, align with individual care plans and regulatory requirements, monitor residents’ wellbeing and manage medication processes while supporting the Home Manager and wider team.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent)
• Medication administration training with competency
• Previous experience leading or managing a care team
• Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills
• Proactive and accountable approach to care delivery
• Caring, compassionate and professional attitude

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the care team on the night shift.
• Oversee delivery of personalised care aligned to care plans and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate documentation including care plans, risk assessments and daily records.
