Job summary

Lime Trees Care Home, part of Care Concern Group, is seeking a Night Unit Manager in Shrewsbury to lead a care team and deliver high-quality, person-centred care. You will be responsible for daily unit operations, medication processes and accurate documentation, ensuring a safe and compassionate environment for residents.

The role requires minimum NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care, medication competency, and strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care
• Medication administration training with competency
• Previous experience leading or managing a care team
• Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills
• A proactive and accountable approach to care delivery
• A caring, compassionate and professional attitude

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operational management of the unit
• Monitor residents’ wellbeing and ensure high quality, person-centred care
• Oversee medication processes and respond effectively to changes in condition
• Maintain accurate documentation including care plans, risk assessments and records
• Collaborate with Home Manager, colleagues, families and healthcare professionals for continuous improvement
