Qualifications

• Experience in a senior care role (Unit Manager or similar).
• Health & Social Care qualification desirable (NVQ 3/4/5 or NMC).
• Strong leadership and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day running of the unit with high care standards.
• Lead, motivate, and develop the care team.
• Ensure care plans and documentation reflect residents' needs.
• Manage staffing levels, rotas, and shift coordination.
• Maintain CQC compliance and best practice.
• Model excellence in care and professional conduct.
• Support recruitment, induction, and ongoing staff development.
• Build relationships with residents, families and professionals.
