Job summary

Exemplar Health Care is seeking a Nurse Unit Manager for night shifts at Wytham Lodge care home in Burnley. You will lead a team of nursing staff and healthcare assistants, ensuring high-quality, person-centred care on your unit and driving continuous improvement.

As a Registered Nurse with post-registration management experience, you will supervise clinical delivery, manage risks, and maintain robust care plans.

Qualifications

First-level Nursing registration with an NMC PIN.
Post-registration management or supervisory experience.
Experience in care home settings preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead the unit's nursing and care teams to meet residents' medical, physical and emotional needs.
Provide strong leadership to maintain and develop high standards of care and drive improvement.
Oversee clinical elements and risks for the unit.
Ensure care plans and risk assessments are completed and reflect interventions.
Act as Named Nurse for residents and oversee care profiles.
Supervise ordering, storage, administration, recording and disposal of medications.
