Job summary

Culina's Telford transport team is seeking a Transport Support Operator on a full-time, permanent basis. The role centres on debriefing drivers daily and providing essential transport administration support to keep operations running smoothly during night shifts.

You will manage timesheets and PODs, prepare delivery documentation, update spreadsheets, and assist Customer Services with ETAs. A careful, accurate approach and proficiency in MS Office are essential.

Qualifications

• Effectively prioritise work load in order to meet set deadlines.
• Good standard of computer literacy, particularly MS Office e.g. PowerPoint, Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Debrief drivers daily and provide admin support to the Transport team.
• Check timesheets for accuracy and ensure PODs are complete.
• Scan and store PODs using Culina’s document management system.
• Prepare drivers’ wallets and issue delivery notes in drop sequence.
• Print despatch notes and replenish despatch paper as required.
• Answer the telephone and assist with enquiries.
• Communicate ETAs to Customer Services.
• Update spreadsheets for run summaries, change-overs and trailer checks.
• Depart loads using Transport Management System (TMS).
• Ensure uplifts are dispatched in correct loads.
