Job summary

Riverside Group is seeking a dedicated Support Assistant in Lewisham to help run one of its supported housing services. The role prioritises safety, wellbeing, and tenancy readiness while dealing with a range of customer needs and coordination with external services.

The position is full-time, with a rolling night shift pattern, offering a permanent contract and a salary of £28,860 per annum. The role involves diverse duties from tenancy support to record-keeping and admin tasks.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with people in a customer facing environment.
• Understanding of supporting vulnerable people, including lived experience with homelessness or substance misuse.
• Basic administrative and IT skills and attention to detail are required to maintain records and in-house systems.

Responsibilities

• Support the day-to-day running of the housing service.
• Log incidents and maintain accurate records of events.
• Clean and prepare rooms for new occupants and ensure a safe environment.
• Assist in referral processes for new customers and contribute to housing management tasks.
• Maintain financial administration systems including rent accounts and invoices.
• General day-to-day administration and responding to enquiries over the phone and reception.
