Job summary

Riverside is hiring a Support Assistant at Rokeby House in Lewisham. The role is full-time (37.5 hours) with a rolling rota including mornings and afternoons. Salary is £28,860 per year. The post focuses on safety and wellbeing of residents in supported housing, without personal care responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with people in a customer facing environment.
• Understanding of supporting vulnerable people incl. homelessness or addiction.
• Basic administrative and IT skills to maintain records.

Responsibilities

• Support the day-to-day running of a supported housing service; ensure safety and wellbeing of customers.
• Log incidents and maintain accurate records; prepare rooms for new occupants.
• Assist with referrals, tenancy-related support, income collection and safeguarding.
• Deliver a range of group activities and support customers to access employment, education and training.
• Maintain local partnerships to provide holistic support; handle day-to-day administration and rent accounts.
