Job summary

Blue Triangle Limited in Glasgow provides safe, supported accommodation for young people experiencing homelessness. You will deliver practical and emotional support to help residents achieve personal goals in daily life.

The role is a night shift Support Worker (24 hours per week) serving eight young people aged 16–25, with an empathetic, trauma-informed approach to build trust and promote positive outcomes.

Qualifications

• Have genuine passion for helping people.
• Ideally 1 year of experience with vulnerable people.
• Commitment to SSSc code of practice and standards.
• Ability to relate empathetically and respect independence.
• Flexible and able to work as a lone worker.
• Proficient in Microsoft or similar applications.
• Willing to work towards SVQ 3.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, secure, supported accommodation with a team.
• Review and monitor progress using case management systems.
• Maintain and update all records and documentation within timeframes.
• Plan and facilitate key work meetings and reviews.
• Provide advocacy and guidance to service users to meet occupancy conditions.
