Blue Triangle in Glasgow city centre is seeking a night shift Support Worker for Somerset Place to provide safe, secure, supported accommodation for young people aged 16-25 with care-experienced backgrounds and trauma histories.
You will work 24 hours per week on a rolling 4‑week rota with shifts 9pm–5am and 11:15pm–7:15am, delivering practical and emotional support and coordinating with the person’s support plan. Experience with vulnerable people, empathy, and flexibility are essential.

s a Support Worker, you’ll work as part of a team in providing safe, secure, supported accommodation for the people who use our services. You’ll do this by providing practical and emotional support and encouraging them to achieve their own personal outcomes in all aspects of their daily lives.
Somerset Place are looking for a night shift Support Worker to work with 8 young people (aged 16-25) who live in the service. The young people are from a care experienced background and often have experienced complex trauma. There is a focus on building positive relationships with young people and in supporting them to achieve positive outcomes. Given young peoples experiences there is a need to have an empathetic and trauma informed approach.
