Job summary

Sainsbury's in Maidenhead is seeking an experienced Nightshift Manager to lead overnight replenishment and store operations. You will prioritise deliveries, organise the warehouse, and replenish shelves while ensuring safety and a strong customer focus.

Role involves supervising a team, driving KPI performance, and managing disciplinary and scheduling processes. Night shifts run 22:00–08:00, four nights per week, with a £4,500 premium on top of base salary.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of delivering brilliant customer service and coaching colleagues.
• Experience leading a team in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
• Operational leadership experience in store operations in absence of senior managers.
• Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding KPIs (sales, availability, customer satisfaction).
• Experience managing employee relations issues including performance and absence.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team overnight to deliver replenishment and organise deliveries and shelves.
• Oversee full store operations overnight and ensure safety and wellbeing of colleagues.
• Ensure standards are excellent by morning to serve customers.
• Manage performance, capability, disciplinaries, and scheduling/pay accuracy.
