Night Shift Manager - Hatfield - Earn up to £47,500 p/a - Temp to Perm opportunity - Full-time - Apply Now.

Job Title: Shift Manager
Location: Hatfield
Pay Rate: £39,931 to £47,509 per annum
Shifts: Full-time hours (48 hours a week) with start times between 21:45 and 06:15, Monday to Friday

Ignition Driver Recruitment are looking for reliable, experienced Shift Managers to join our team and play a vital role in keeping the supply chain moving.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone to join our client’s Home Delivery Network and as an experienced leader, your experience, drive and determination will be utilised well within this challenging and rewarding role.

To be considered for this role, you will be an experienced Shift Manager with a strong focus on customer service. You must have previous experience in a high-volume transport and warehouse environment.

What You'll Do
  • Proactively manage and motivate the team to ensure best performance
  • Support with employee development
  • Encourage a culture of excellence
  • Investigate and manage any performance, conduct or capability issues
  • Contribute to the training and development of yourself and the delivery teams
  • Manage and develop accident reduction initiatives
  • Manage role related KPI's
  • Work closely with the Warehouse and Planning teams
  • Work on an ever changing Transport plan to ensure the smooth running of daily deliveries
  • Champion Health & Safety across the site
What You Need
  • Previous experience working within Transport, Warehousing and Logistics is preferred
  • You will have demonstrable shift manager/team leader experience
  • You will need to have PC skills and be able to use Microsoft Office as well as industry related software (Kronos, Oracle etc)
  • You must be a UK resident to be considered for this opportunity. We are unable to assist with VISA applications and cannot assist with relocation.
