Job summary

Places for People is seeking a Night Services Coordinator to support customers in our supported housing services during evenings and overnight hours at two Blyth sites. You will create a safe, welcoming environment and respond to complex needs with high-quality guidance.

You will carry out building checks, monitor CCTV, respond to incidents, maintain records and assist with safeguarding, tenancy breaches and health and safety matters. An independent, compassionate approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting vulnerable customers in housing, support, health, social care or community settings.
• Experience responding to safeguarding concerns, incidents or challenging situations.
• Ability to work independently, prioritise workload and manage competing demands.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety legislation and compliance requirements, including COSHH.
• Experience maintaining records, reports or case notes using IT systems.
• Holds a driving licence and has access to a vehicle since the role is split across two sites.

Responsibilities

• Carry out regular building checks and monitor CCTV systems.
• Perform cleaning duties and respond to customer enquiries and incidents.
• Take appropriate action on safeguarding issues, tenancy breaches and antisocial behaviour.
• Maintain accurate support plans and records; report repairs or maintenance needs.
• Work across two sites in Blyth to support residents and ensure safety and wellbeing.
