Job summary

YMCA St Paul’s Group in London seeks a Housing and Support Assistant (Nights) to join our Housing and Support team. You will be the first point of contact for residents and visitors, delivering high-quality, tailored advice while upholding our welcoming ethos.

Your duties include reception tasks, managing calls and mail, processing payments, carrying out first aid and fire marshal duties, and maintaining safety and security across the building, with a compassionate approach to residents.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service to residents and visitors, setting a welcoming tone.
• Perform reception duties: manage telephone services, mail, repairs, and payments, and monitor building safety.
• Act as first aider and fire marshal, ensuring wellbeing and safety during emergencies.
• Welcome new residents, address complaints, and report concerns or incidents with empathy.
• Work within a supportive housing team to provide consistent, high-quality housing and support services.
