Places for People is seeking a Night Services Coordinator to support customers in our supported housing services during evenings and overnight hours at two Blyth sites. You will create a safe, welcoming environment and respond to complex needs with high-quality guidance.
You will carry out building checks, monitor CCTV, respond to incidents, maintain records and assist with safeguarding, tenancy breaches and health and safety matters. An independent, compassionate approach is essential.

As a Night Services Coordinator, you'll play a vital role in supporting customers within our supported housing services during evening and overnight hours. You'll help create a safe, secure and welcoming environment for customers who may have complex support needs, ensuring they receive high-quality guidance and support when they need it most. You'll carry out regular building checks, monitor CCTV systems, complete cleaning duties, respond to incidents and customer enquiries, and take appropriate action when concerns arise. This includes managing safeguarding issues, tenancy breaches, antisocial behaviour, mental health crises and health and safety matters. You'll also maintain accurate records, update support plans and report repairs or maintenance issues to help ensure our services operate effectively.
You're a caring and resilient individual who is passionate about supporting people to live safely and independently. You'll be confident working both independently and as part of a wider team, with the ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations.You'll have experience working with vulnerable customer groups and be comfortable responding to a variety of support needs. Strong written and verbal communication skills are important, alongside good organisational skills and attention to detail when completing records, handovers and customer documentation. A proactive approach, sound judgement and commitment to delivering excellent customer service will help you succeed in this rewarding role.
