Job summary

Alongside is seeking a Housing Night Concierge to be the friendly on-site presence across our supported accommodation. You’ll ensure the safety and security of the buildings and residents overnight, contributing to a calm, supportive environment.

This role suits someone comfortable working solo with strong attention to detail and a genuine care for maintaining positive community relationships. DBS checks are required for all applicants.

Qualifications

• Experience working with people who may have complex needs and/or challenging behaviours.
• Overnight role experience preferred but not required; full training and induction provided.

Responsibilities

• Be a reassuring on-site presence, ensuring safety and security overnight.
• Conduct regular building checks and patrols to monitor safety and provide a calm environment.
• Monitor CCTV and respond to incidents in line with policies and procedures.
• Keep a clear and accurate log of events and activities during each shift.
• Provide smooth handovers with verbal and written details between shifts.
