Night Room Service Waiter/ess - Six Senses London

Duties and Responsibilities

As Night In Room Dining Waiter, I will support the In Room Dining Manager and assume responsibility for the efficient operation in the following:

• Work responsibly, with a high level of unsupervised independence in executing all tasks.
• Assist in the coordination of amenity deliveries and doorknob procedures.
• Support the Minibar team with collection, sanitation and filling of glass water bottles.
• Answer outlet telephone courteously and efficiently as specified in department´s standards.
• Handle cashiering function, guest billing control as well as point of sale system and reporting.
• Perform food order delivery to guest room following internal and LQA standards.
• Be familiar with preparation, ingredients, and presentation of menu offerings.
• Use the appropriate glassware and tableware for the different orders.
• Have a good knowledge of all outlet menus (food and wine) and F&B day to day activities.
• Strictly adhere to LQA standards and guest comments.

Qualifications

To execute the position of Night In Room Dining Waiter, I must have the required qualifications, technical skills and experience in a similar role in luxury hotels with proven results and includes the following:

• High school diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year’s experience in a similar operational role. Hospitality diploma/degreefrom a recognized hospitality school is preferred.
• Familiar with Food and Beverage terminology, application, operation, wine service, costs, menu development food and hygiene codes and controlling inventory
• Fluent in English; I understand that additional languages are preferred.
