Job summary

As a Roadside Technician at RAC, you’ll be responsible for delivering expert mechanical roadside repairs, diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the UK. You’ll start and end your day at home, working locally to get members back on the road with confidence.

We provide a RAC van, fuel card, full uniform, tools and diagnostic kit, plus a competitive base salary of £42,921.87 and an average OTE ranging from £43,000 to £53,000.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years’ experience
• 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair
• Perform vehicle diagnostics
• Provide emergency breakdown support across the UK

Skills

NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maint

2+ years’ experience

5+ years’ experience as Technician/Meh

Full UK driving licence
